Prologue Zone
Welcome to the 『KDB Heritage Hall』.
This exhibition space introduces the history and vision of the Korea Development Bank and officially opened on April 1, 2025.
It consists of 『five themed zones』, allowing visitors to explore at a glance the bank’s contributions to the development of Korea’s modern and contemporary industries.
The first zone, 『Prologue』, presents a 『70-year highlights video』 showcasing key moments when the bank stood at the center of Korea’s economic growth.

Legacy Zone
The 『KDB Legacy』 zone presents the bank’s 70-year history divided into five periods, highlighting its role in Korea’s economic development.
Each wall shows the nation’s economic milestones alongside the bank’s evolution, and 『timeline』 displays major events in chronological order.
You can experience vivid historical moments through 『original artifacts』 related to the bank’s founding and major operations, as well as photos displayed in 『digital frames』.

On the opposite wall, you will find a 『diorama of KDB’s headquarter history』 and a 『chronological wall』 visualizing the bank’s journey alongside Korea’s economic growth.
People Zone
The 『KDB People』 zone highlights the stories of employees through photographs, office supplies, and personal items from different eras since the bank’s founding.
Using the kiosk, visitors can explore the 『human archive』 and view large-screen displays of photos featuring employees who have shaped the bank’s history.
Within the kiosk, the 『artifact collection』 introduces office items once used at the bank, which are also displayed in the glass showcase below.
The opposite wall, titled 『a lifetime with KDB』, features donated documents such as personnel records, training materials, and commendations from various workplaces.
Pride Zone
The 『KDB Pride』 zone focuses on the bank’s mission and operations, introducing its long-term development strategy, core roles, domestic and global network, and major achievements.
One wall prominently displays the bank’s 『mission』: “A policy financial institution responsible for 1% of Korea’s economy.”
Another wall presents 『six key roles of KDB』 in overcoming economic challenges and supporting Korea’s renewed growth.
Inside the 『central glass showcase』, you can view the bank’s decennial publications, internal publications, and the evolution of its logos and research bulletins.
The glass wall at the back features the 『honors wall』 displaying major awards and recognitions achieved by the bank.
The 『global network』 interactive display allows visitors to explore the evolution and current status of the bank’s domestic and overseas offices.
Vision Zone
This is the final exhibition space, 『KDB Vision』, concluding your visit to Heritage Hall.
Through a video presenting the bank’s future vision, we share forward-looking values aligned with Korea’s economy and industries.
A 『guestbook』 is available at the back for visitors to leave their impressions of the exhibition.
